ONGOING FUNDRAISERS FOR MLC PTSA
Ongoing Fundraisers allow the PTSA to earn money for actions that we all do every week. Many Merchants will pay us for the privilege of your patronage. All it takes is a little set up and attention on your part.
The programs at Office Depot and Target Stores give money to the school. When you make purchases at Office Depot, ask them to contribute to the school. The cashiers look it up in a book and a percentage comes back to the school. If you have a Target card, you can set it up to donate a percentage to MLC.
Other fundraisers donate to MLC PTSA. The two most prominent at this time are General Mills' Box tops for Education and ESCRIP. The box tops are on the top of all General Mills products. Just clip or tear them off and put them in the PTSA Box in the Main Office.
ESCRIP is an electronic scrip program where merchants contribute a percentage based on your purchases. The purchases are tracked from your supermarket membership cards, debit cards or credit cards. All the cards are secure and PTSA does not have access to any records. You make a purchase at a participating merchant and ESCRIP tracks it and automatically deposits the contribution into the MLC PTSA bank account. Anyone can sign up to support the school- you do not need to be a MLC family. Neighbors, relatives, co workers- anyone who wants to can support the school through this program and they don't pay anything.
