Auction Rules
  1. Anyone wishing to bid must obtain a bid number which is written on the back of the program.
  2. Payment in full is required on the evening of the auction. Cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard are welcome.
  3. All items must be removed from the premises the night of the auction.
  4. Any item to be obtained directly from the donor is represented by a gift certificate given to the purchaser at checkout. Please contact donor directly for specific details.
  5. All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds can be made. All items are sold "as is".
  6. Auction purchases are not tax deductible except dollars paid beyond the stated value. Contact your accountant for details.
  7. Please note any redemption limitations and/or expiration dates.
  8. The processing/cashier table will open at 9:00.
Silent Auction
  1. The bid number assigned to you appears on the back of your program.
  2. You may begin writing bids for the Silent Auction as soon as the doors open. To bid, write your bid number, name and bid amount on the corresponding bid sheet for the item you are interested in. Cross-outs are not permitted so please be sure you want to bid before committing your name.
  3. Be sure your bid follows the minimum bid as well as the minimum raise requirement. The minimum bid is the lowest bid that will be accepted for an item. The raise is the minimum amount you may increase your bid over the previous bid. Both of these numbers are indicated on the bid sheet below each item.
  4. Any bid that does not meet the minimum raise requirements may be disqualified. Please note that these raise requirements differ for each item.
  5. Silent Auction bidding will end on a staggered schedule. Sections will be closed at 15 minute increments. This is a change from year's past. Strategically, you may want to be near the desired item (or items) to ensure you have the highest bid at the closing of bidding for that item.
  6. Bid sheets will be collected by Auction Staff at 8:30 for collating and processing.
  7. Silent Auction items may be picked up once they have been paid for at the processing/cashier table beginning at 9:00.
Oral Auction
  1. The Oral Auction begins at 8:30 and continues until all items are sold.
  2. Items in the Oral Auction are listed separately in the program.
  3. To bid, raise your numbered program.
  4. Items will be auctioned in the order listed in the program.
  5. Some items are perfect for groups - consider pooling your resources with friends.
  6. In each case, the Auctioneer will be the final judge of the successful bidder.
  7. Oral Auction items may be picked up once they have been paid for at the processing/cashier table beginning at 9:00.
