MLC is a kindergarten through twelfth grade alternative school that emphasizes a humane environment where students learn independence and responsible decision-making in a positive educational setting. Rich with tradition yet continually adapting to meet the changing needs of our students, MLC offers a unique academic program focused on experiential learning, character development, service to the community and the pleasures of life and learning.

This handbook is a collaborative effort of students, staff and members of the MLC community designed to help families understand and fully participate in our school and program.
